That tragic Tuesday in September
will I be able to forget?
The pain,
the fear, the questions,
the reason why,
Will I remember?

That brutal day in September
will I be able to understand?
The anger,
the destruction,
the loss of life,
without a reason.
Will I remember?

The terror of September
can I forgive
this brutal act
of violence,
of devastation,
the emptiness it left behind.
Will I remember?

The 11^th of September
in the year 2001
so many lives
destroyed
and changed
Forever.
I will remember!

And renew My Vow
I know Our Sweetie's
listening
My heart now leads me
Off The Bridge
I look back again
Over my right shoulder
Once again all
I see Is an Empty Skyline
