PLEASE HELP ADOPT A FAMILY

Arden Heights is formally inaugurating its "Adopt-a-Family" program. We have joined the Israel Emergency Solidarity Fund in adopting the Druk and Langer families in Israel which have been victimized by terror in Israel. Funds are used for rent, food, clothing, medical treatment, social services, and more. All moneys go to administrative expenses.

THE DRUK FAMILY-Em Yakov Street 33, Meah Shearim, Jerusalem

On January 22, 2002, Yosef Druk was severely wounded during a terrorist attack on Jaffa Street in Jerusalem. Yosef, 37 and a father of seven, suffered a severe head wound and was hospitalized for a number of weeks. Chana, his wife, has devotedly tended to his needs throughout the entire period of his hospitalization. Yosef is no longer able to work. The entire burden of raising the children ages 1 week to 9 years and caring for Yosef falls on Chana's shoulders. The family now has tremendous debts with no means to pay them. They don't even have the money to pay the rent for the apartment where they live. Their landlord has started eviction proceedings against them.
